Secure Service Personalization Method based on Mobile Agent

(in English) In this paper, we propose a method to personalize services by
introducing sandbox as an agent workplace in which a mobile agent can
access to personal information of users but the agent cannot send
anything to outside of the sandbox, and also we provide a design of
this method. For instance, we place the agent workplace in a site
which stores personal information. In the workplace, all agent actions
which access to external resources are disabled. When a service provider
want to personalize its service, the service provider creates an
mobile agents which has data and procedures to customize the service,
and send the mobile agent to the workplace. Then the mobile agent
accesses to personal data, customizes the service data and finally
send the customized service data back to the service provider.
In this paper, we show usefulness of the proposed method
through experiments using an prototype system.
