Driving Method Controls Color Retention of Electrochromic Display

(in English) In this paper, we aim to conserve the Electrochromic Display (ECD) color for longer lifetime by examining various voltage driving techniques. Modulating open circuit time method showed relatively well improvement in keeping color of ECD. On the other hand, Independently of time we used the monitored internal voltage to re-inject the charge during the open circuit time. This technique presented significant improvement of retaining the ECD color at three different levels for 10 min period of time. We consider this method stupendous technique for the advantage of easy control rather than any other suggested ways to possess the ECD color for longer life time.
