Multiple omnidirectional sound source tracking using circular microphone array
Yusuke Shiiki, Kenji Suyama (Tokyo Denki Univ.) CAS2015-61
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this paper, a method for omnidirectional sound source tracking using a circular microphone array is studied. The particle filter is the well-known method for a single source tracking. However, a multiple sound source tracking is more likely to fail because of the same source estimation problem. In this study, the sequential updating histogram which does not need to consider this problem is applied. Several experimental results are shown to present the effectiveness of the proposed method.
