Dynamic properties of telecom-band InAsP/InP nanowire laser on photonic crystal

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) Directly-modulated single-nanowire lasers on silicon photonic crystal are demonstrated, and their properties measured. The light-in vs. light-out curve and photon statistics were measured in continuous-wave operation. Pseudo-random bit stream (PRBS) modulation at 20 Gbit/s was shown using superconducting single-photon detectors and a time-correlated single-photon counting module; an open eye pattern was clearly shown thereby.
