Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In this report, we suggest the technique to improve the reliability of the power supply with multiplexing an overcurrent detection circuit by software in a digitally controlled switching mode power supply circuit. We calculate a normal duty ratio range theoretically during operation, using a input voltage, a target voltage, and an output current. If an real duty ratio exceeds this normal range, switching operation is forcibly stopped for safe as the failure of the current detection circuit. In this report, we discuss the inspection results studied using simulation and experiment.
