DSP-Controlled Synchronous Rectification Scheme for Efficiency Improvement of LLC Resonant Converter under Light Load

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) this paper proposed Synchronous rectification control method for LLC resonant converter by using digital controller. In Proposed control method, detects the forward voltage drop by conducting the body diode of the synchronous rectifier switches. And digital controller operates Synchronous rectifier switches based on detected signal. Therefore, proposed control method can drive optimal turn-on and turn-off of synchronous rectifier switches. Moreover, proposed control method achieve to suppress the circulating current from output capacitor to input at light load conditions. As a result, proposed control method can improve the efficiency than conventional control method under light load condition.
