Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We developed measuring technique for thickness of structure by resonance method from one side without contacting. Ultrasonic waves were transmitted to the object in air, and resonanced signals were measured. The resonanced signals include in particular frequency that depending on the thickness and material of the object. The thickness of the steel plate of 10[mm] to 15[mm] were measured by the resonance method, and each thickness of the steel were measured. The distance between the probe and the object was changed, and it was confirm that the resonance was changed. The test block of thinning was observed by resonance method, the healthy portion and the reduced thickness portion.
