Mobility Control Method to Improve Reachability and Area Coverage Performance of Obtained Data in Underwater Sensor Networks

(in English) These days, underwater exploration demand is increasing in the field of industry, science, military, and so on.
Hence, UWSNs (Underwater Sensor Networks) has been attracted attention.
However, there are various problems specific to underwater environments including the communication medium.
In this paper, we focus on two problems caused by the movement of sensor nodes.
The first one is the problem on broken or degrading acoustic links between two neighboring nodes moving away from each other.
The second is the problem that observed data are not obtained at the sink uniformly from various areas in an entire network region.
This paper studies about tackling the both problems simultaneously by introducing mobile nodes and controlling them.
