(in English) Recently, the volume of the mobile data traffic is increasing rapidly.
Accordingly, many Wi-Fi Access Points (APs) are installed in public area to utilize high-speed Wi-Fi network. However, traffic load bias and the large size contents make load balancing difficult. This causes that the communication quality in large-scale public Wi-Fi network becomes worse.
In this paper, we forcused on Virtualized Wi-Fi Network Environment (VWNE). The features of VWNE include building Virtual AP (VAP) dynamically, flexible channel allocation, and seemless hand-over of mobile devices between VAPs. Using these features, we proposed channel allocation methods that follow the load variation and perform the priority control for QoS of a specific communication or application. Moreover, we showed the effectiveness of the our proposed methods through simulation.
