A study on transmission characteristics improvement of RF transmitter IC using genetic algorithm

(in English) In RF transmitter integrated circuit having a QPSK modulation scheme , a sine wave of the transmission signal represented by a 12-bit digital code generated through the genetic algorithm reduces the I/Q mismatch in the analog circuit of the transmitter. It was confirmed that the image component can be reduced in the output spectrum. In addition, this technique can reduce harmonic and intermodulation distortions caused by circuit non-linearity, resulting in reduction of undesired components.
