(in English) This paper reports reconsideration on text/non-text classification in online handwritten documents by BLSTM neural networks. In recent years, the text/non-text classification methods employing BLSTM neural networks achieved significantly higher accuracy than those employing SVM classifiers. The architecture of BLSTM neural networks can use global temporal context for a sequence of input data so that they are well-suited to classify text and non-text in online ink documents. However, there still remain some mis-classifications especially when text is switched to non-text and vice versa. In order to improve the classification, we reorganize feature extraction, add artifitial patterns for training and apply post-processing. We also made a user interface to classify text and non-text in an input ink document and recognize text. Evaluation of collected ink documents is also made.
