Broadband Characteristics of Qusi-distributed constant Line Filter

(in English) Recently, conducted emission resulting higher harmonic of switching frequency is increasing due to higher switching of power converter circuit. Therefore, expansion of an attenuation bandwidth of a common-mode choke coil is required. We developed the quasi-distributed constant line filter which has a wideband attenuation characteristic. To improve an attenuation bandwidth at low frequency, high permeability magnetic core was used. The characteristic grounding terminal which can produce a quasi-distributed constant line at windings was attached to improve an attenuation bandwidth at high frequency. The attenuation band over 40 dB could be expanded from 200 kHz – 3 MHz to 80 kHz – 17 MHz by optimizing a ratio of grounding capacitance to parasitic capacitance of windings.
