When energy conversion in stack of thermoacoustic system are carried out by traveling wave phase, it is high efficiency than a standing wave phase. Yazaki et al. developed looped-tube thermoacoustic system (looped-tube) which realized energy conversion by traveling wave phase. However, problem of this system include downsizing. As a technique to resolve this problem, the research of coaxial thermoacoustic (coaxial-type) which is compact and able to do energy conversion by traveling wave phase are performed. In the previous study, we succeed in energy conversion by traveling wave phase in coaxial-type, but only the report about standing wave ratio of excitation sound wave. In this paper, I suggest the method of acoustic field analysis in coaxial-type and perform the examination about energy conversion efficiency. In addition, I compare the energy conversion efficiency of coaxial-type with looped-tube, as a result, that of coaxial-type largely exceeded than that of looped-tube. |
