[Poster Presentation] A Study on Propagation Model and Mechanism on Null-Space Dimension Expansion for Multi-User MIMO Tolerant to Channel Fluctuation

(in English) Some papers reported that a zero-forcing (ZF) adaptive array antenna or multi-user MIMO system can be robust against channel variation due to fading and/or movement of the interfering terminals when the combining weights are set to cancel not only the most recent channels but also the previous ones of the interferences. This report discusses the mechanism to cancel the interferences focusing on the relation between the interference subspace spanned by the channel vectors of the interferences and the combining weight vector. In this report, it is shown that the ZF weight vector both for the most recent and the next previous channels can be still ZF for the current channels as well as these can be approximated by linear extrapolation of the former channels. It is also discussed how the subspace dimension should be extended to get the optimum weights in case the channels are deviating from the linearly extrapolated ones.
