Basic examination for analyzing acoustic characteristics of cell organelle

(in English) This paper demonstrate the measurement of speed of sound (SOS) in different disease model (cirrhotic model and normal model) of rat liver using a scanning acoustic microscopy with 250-MHz transducer. To evaluate SOS in microscopic level same as size of liver cells, the alignment of pathological image and intensity image was conducted. The same specimen of sliced tissue was employed in SOS measurement and pathological examination. SOS of nuclei, cytoplasm of liver cell and fibrotic tissue were summarized. The number of individuals for measurement was three in each model. As a result, it was found in an example in cirrhotic model that SOS of fibrotic tissue was higher than that of nuclei and cytoplasm of liver cells. There was no fibrotic tissue in the liver of other two individuals. In the cirrhotic model, SOS of fibrotic tissue, nuclei and cytoplasm of liver cells were 1620±44,1550±33,1555±34 m/s. Compared results between cirrhotic model and normal model, SOS in normal model was higher than that in cirrhotic model. In the normal model, SOS of fibrotic tissue, nuclei and cytoplasm of liver cells were 1640±37,1660±35 m/s.
