The Yagi-Uda meshed antenna is designed and demonstrated on the ultra-slim flexible glass. The linewidth and spacing of the meshgrids are set to be 3 ?m and 200-300 ?m for the purpose of transparency. At the operation frequency 9.5 GHz, the 10 dB return loss bandwidth of metal meshed antenna is about 8 %. This study is the first demonstration in both experiment and simulation for the novel ultra-slim glass with the metal meshed antenna. With the successful demonstration, the transparent antenna can be realized with proper grid size and hence the full-transparent electronic devices would be realized in near the future. |
