Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) We are studying with the aim of practical application of character input brain computer interface (BCI) as intention transmission means of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS). There is a problem in the character input BCI. It is that long input time per character. Therefore, the present, we varied the number of times and stimulus onset asynchrony (SOA) for the purpose of improving the character input speed and causing high maintain the character input accuracy of character input BCI, it was proposed a method of finding the characteristics of the number of times and SOA in character input BCI. As a result, Individual qualities of the character input BCI user was revealed, character input speed was shortened from 34(sec/char) to 4(sec/char).
