Change of the frequency separation for 2 mode lasers by using the birefringent etalon filter

(in English) Recently, the application of millimeter and terahertz waves to high speed wireless communication and sensing field attracted much attention. Although there are many methods for generating high-frequency electromagnetic waves, we focused on the technique that uses a two-wavelength laser. Previously we achieved the stable two-wavelength lasing by using semiconductor quantum dots gain chip and the etalon filter. In this report, we tried to change the frequency separation continuously, in the two-wavelength laser for the 90GHz band millimeter-wave generation using the calcite etalon filter as a birefringence material.
