Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Recently, with the increase of energy issues and environmental issues, renewable energy systems such as PV (Photovoltaic generation) system and wind turbine generator system are introduced. Energy management systems using battery are needed to smooth power because power generation amount by renewable energy system is instability. The concepts Bi-directional Multiport Converter are proposed as one of the DC power supply system. This system has several DC I/O ports and allows of seamless power transmission among the ports. In this paper, the futures, circuit configuration and control method of Bi-directional Multiport Converter are suggested.
