(in English) Microwave radio equipment is occasionally damaged by lightning because an antenna on a communication tower is connected to microwave radio equipment by waveguide directory. We have proposed a system configuration using radio over fiber (RoF) links instead of waveguides. In this report, newly developed RF amplifier using power over fiber is introduced. Bit error rate (BER) measurements of 16QAM, 32Mbps, carrier frequency of 6.5GHz, were successfully demonstrated at the output power of about 50 mW.
