micro-lens boundary portion removal approach for accelerating HEVC compression of the light field video

(in English) A light field image is a type of images that can generate the refocus images and depth information after shooting. In this paper, assuming that light-field images will be broadcasted on the next television infrastructure in Japan,We researched the best setting of the compression process of HEVC for the light-field images and the filter which removes the boundary of the micro-lens in tthe image. As the results, We found that the proposed filter increase the efficiency of bit generation amount and processing time. On the other hand, the filter lowers the quality of rendered picture. Within the requirements of the infrastrucrure,We found that the non filter processing
is the most effective.
