[Invited Talk] Standardization of the IEEE 802.11ax Wireless LAN and future perspectives

(in English) Standardization activity of the high efficiency WLAN in the task group ax (TGax) of the IEEE 802.11 working group is introduced. Unlike previous WLAN standardization, the primary scope of the IEEE 802.11ax is to improve the efficiency in a dense deployment scenario. In this talk, backgrounds and current discussion of 802.11ax standardization activity is introduced focusing on the technical aspects. Moreover, future perspectives beyond the 802.11ax standardization is discussed.
