In order to realize full duplex radio communication, we have researched an interference reduction technique, which spatially separates transmitting~(Tx) and receiving~(Rx) arrays pf the multiple-input multiple-output~(MIMO) antennas. We have proposed a combination technique of an end-fire antenna arrangement, which arranges all of elements of Tx and Rx array in line, and a null-steering by an eigen-beamforming technique. Some numerical and experimental results showed the proposed method greatly reduces the interference with consuming the least of degrees of MIMO freedom. This report evaluates spatial capacity distributions of a base station with the proposed technique. As a simple evaluation for a line-of-sight~(LOS) environment, a simple electro-magnetic calculation is performed, which only considers propagation loss and phases on the free space. As a realistic evaluation, a ray trace simulation is used, where an outdoor multi-path environment is assumed. Numerical results clarified an effect of a null directivity to an end-fire direction on a spatial distribution of a channel capacity with multi-path in the proposed system. |
