| (in English) | Abstract: Recently, it became usual style to use external information systems even for business use system, due to spreading of cloud computing. In those cases, users of cloud computing could not wipe away the concerns that their data and programs submitted to a cloud provider may be abused or leaked. Those data and programs usually embody the company’s competence knowledge. Users would like to know how much cost is needed according to the degree of safety or security. We propose a new concept, “trust-ability” to evaluate quantitatively the safety and security of information systems, and show its effectiveness through numerical examples. |
