Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Today, networked control systems (NCSs) have become popular in many areas of studies, due to the growth of information and communication technology (ICT). Studies of NCSs are still ongoing, and there are many issues to solve. One of the issues is the increase of cyberattacks aimed at NCSs. Only deploying information security such as encryption to NCSs cannot solve this issue, due to the difference of information and control systems. A tamper detection observer (TDO) has been proposed to cope with tampering, which is one of the increasing cyberattacks. The TDO is able to detect tampering and provide and secure networked control. In this research, some different tamper signals are injected into a networked motion control system, and discuss the effects of the tamper signal characteristics on the NCS with the TDO.
