Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In the recording and the broadcasting of sports and live concerts, there is a demand that audience want to watch not only the whole picture but also the picture that was shot at an object mainly. In order to shoot at an object mainly,it is sufficient to prepare the camera to always shoot at the object. However in the football games, for example, it is necessary to control a lot of cameras to shoot at an object that moves around freely. In this paper, we show how to automatically shoot at an object mainly by controlling multiple cameras. In the proposed technique, by scoring the candidate pictures based on the positional relationships, cameras shoot at the picture that has high score. Thus it is possible to automatically generate movies that shoot to focus on many objects. Further, in order to confirm the effectiveness of the proposed technique, we show the results of comparative experiments that was performed on a simulator that was created in Unity. Experiments are carried out by comparing the proposed technique with using fixed cameras and the proposed technique with using cameras that shoot at the nearest object. As a result, in the proposed technique, it is confirmed that multiple cameras shoot in cooperation.
