Orthogonal Dual-mode Dielectric Resonator Antenna for MPT System with Beam Pilot Signal in a Single Frequency

(in English) Multipath propagation of the pilot signal for retro directive system is a problem in the beam-type microwave power transmission (MPT) system along the horizontal direction on the ground or the sea. In this study, we propose a beam pilot signal using the entire power receiving antenna surface. In order to develop this system in a single frequency, array antenna elements are required to transmit and receive two orthogonal polarization with a sufficiently high isolation. In this paper, the development of orthogonal dual-mode dielectric resonator antenna for the beam pilot signal is discussed.
