(in English) Increase of dementia patients has become a social problem. A group conversation is one of the intervention techniques for prevention of cognitive decline and dementia. However, the amount of speech and listening differs for each participant of group conversation, which may alter the effects of participation. This study develops the conversation assistance robot having a function of moderating and balancing the amount of speech of participants based on the speech time.
