Network tomography is a technique to estimate network internal characteristics by end-to-end measurements. An adaptive Boolean network tomography scheme has been studied to identify network failures from success or failure of packet transmission on measurement paths. In this scheme, at least two measurement nodes are required to collect measurement results. In this article, by extending the scheme, we propose a new Boolean network tomography scheme based on reflective network tomography, where one measurement node collects measurement results by transmitting and receiving packets on its round-trip paths.
