A consideration on battery charging while doing something and electric vehicle sharing

(in English) Charging the battery of an electric vehicle (EV) takes a longer time than refueling a car; therefore, some new ideas for charging have been proposed. Charging while doing something (CWDS) is one of the ideas, builds an environment where a driver can charge an EV while doing something, and reduces the pure waiting time. Performance of CWDS has been analyzed from various viewpoints. It is said that EVs play an important role in car sharing systems. In this report, we show some properties of the pure waiting time of CWDS in car sharing systems using some computer simulation results. We also describe the relation between CWDS in car sharing systems and battery exchange systems.
