We describe system solution for energy saving in the network equipment and the “top runner measure” to procure best equipment of efficient energy saving most. In the backbone network equipment, increase of the power consumption is concerned. The high-density and high-power consumption routers require equipment capability for power supply and air cooling to be enlarged. It is necessary to consider the total energy saving including a peripheral equipment of air conditioning and the feeding. We describe the high voltage direct current power supply for it. |
