| （英） | This manuscript describes a web-based polarimetric synthetic aperture radar (SAR) image archive developed by wave laboratory of Niigata University. Scattering power decomposition images all over the world are displayed. Scattering power decomposition image of fully polarimetric data is easy to understand and interpret for everybody, compared to gray-scale SAR images. We have created a web-based image gallery for public viewing of these images acquired with space-borne Advanced Land Observing Satellite (ALOS) and its successor ALOS2, in addition to airborne PiSAR-L2/X2 systems. The significance of these decomposition mages is a use of full-color in which each RGB color-code is corresponding to unique scattering mechanism. The surface scattering corresponds to Blue, the double bounce scattering to Red, and the volume scattering to Green. This point is very important because it is possible to retrieve information directly by color in the scene. The number of precious fully polarimetric data exceeded more than 2000, which covers all over the world and makes a very unique source not only for radar community but also for non-experts, engineers, researchers, students who are interested in polarimetric radar sensing. | |
