Data Output UI Specification Extraction using Differences of Texts in HTML Documents

(in English) In a enterprise system redevelopment project, it is important to get correct specification of an existing system. However, incomplete specification documents of the existing system cause many loss costs in the redevelopment project. Therefore, we proposed a method to recover UI specification using logs from the existing system. However, the proposed method could not recover output items and labels. In this report, we propose a method to extract output items and labels using some HTML documents of the same screen that have the variety of output data. Output items and labels are extracted based on frequency and variation of texts in HTML Documents. Our experimental result shows that the method recovers 93% of output items and labels from HTML Documents of real business applications.
