In an emergency situation, broadcaster can wake up the receivers automatically by sending a special signal superposed on the transmission radiowave. ISDB-T terrestrial digital television transmits the emergency wake-up signal on one of the control signals, and it enables us to reliably convey the signal to the receivers. An ISDB-T broadcasting signal is sent by various subcarriers, and the control signal information is also sent by the several subcarriers that contain the same information and is repeated cyclically in every 0.2 second. Because ISDB-T conveys videos for not only fixed receptions but also mobile receptions, it is important for mobile receiver to reliably determine the emergency wake-up signal. In this paper, the requirement of the subcarrier frequency diversity is presented, Then, the performance of the single bit detection, the error correction detection, and the parity majority detection are compared in terms of misdetection and false alarm. |
