Based on the circuit simulation method, the effect of terahertz (THz) external feedback on a resonant tunneling diode oscillator, which occurs in THz-proximity wireless communication, is modeled and described accurately. Various important factors of the effect such as reflection at the transmitter and receiver and the power coupling efficiency are investigated using the constructed model. To validate the accuracy of the model, simulated results are compared with experimental measurements. Good agreement between the model and the experimental results demonstrate that the constructed model accurately describes the phenomena. |
