Recently, mobile communication systems for the fifth generation (5G) in higher frequency bands have been extensively studied. A Massive-MIMO system is one of the promising technologies to improve spectral efficiency.
Authors have already studied ``nonlinear block bi-diagonalization(NL-BBD) precoding'' for 5G MU-MIMO precoding and reported the performance of NL-BBD precoding using APAA-MIMO, that consists of analog beamformer and digital MIMO processing.
In this paper, we evaluate the APAA-MIMO performance with NL-BBD precoding by using channel measurement data which was transmitted by 44GHz band APAA and the computer simulation. And we show that NL-BBD has superior perfomance than conventional linear precoding in high density user allocation. |
