(in English) In this paper, we propose an energy consumption model for a surveillance system utilizing Wireless Smart Utility Network (Wi-SUN) devices. To build the energy consumption model, we divide the system into four main components, such as Wi-SUN, cellular network, data processing and content delivery to a user, and individually build the energy consumption models of four components. In addition, we assume to utilize edge computing platform for data processing and confirm that edge computing has an advantage of energy saving compared with cloud computing by using our proposal model.
