| (in English) | Voltage imbalance among series-connected energy storage cells or photovoltaic (PV) modules is well known to trigger major issues, such as premature deterioration of cells or significant reduction in PV module utilization. Various kinds of voltage equalizers have been proposed to address these problems. But the main converter and voltage equalizer are separately necessary, generating issues of increased system complexity and cost. In this paper, novel integrated converters are derived from four kinds of basic circuits. The derived integrated converters were analyzed, and experimental results of the two representative topologies demonstrated the efficacy of the proposed integrated converters. | |
