| 抄録 | （和） | The first part of this talk summarizes findings from a new book by David Yoffie and Michael Cusumano titled Strategy Rules: Five Timeless Lessons from Bill Gates, Andy Grove, and Steve Jobs (2015). The founders of Microsoft, Intel, and Apple had very different backgrounds and personalities, but approached strategy and entrepreneurship in very similar way. They also created companies around their personal “anchors” – software (Gates), engineering discipline (Grove), and user interfaces (Jobs). The second part comments on the state of entrepreneurship and innovation in Japan. |
