In the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) technology, the method of dropping sensors at random is widely used for outdoor fields such as dangerous or disaster areas to monitor environmental status. In this study, we investigate a system to manage WSN effectively using an Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV). In this paper, we describe a basic design for collecting the Received Signal Strength Indicator (RSSI) from each sensor by the UAV and estimating sensor positions with high accuracy from the collected RSSIs. |
