Cache Admission for Improving Forwarding Speed of NDN Software Router

(in English) Wasteful cache computation of unpopular content is one of causes of decreasing forwarding speed of an NDN software router due to time-consuming per-packet caching. To resolve this cause, we propose to use cache admission, which inserts only popular content into a cache so that wasteful cache insertions are bypassed.
Through experimental and analytical evaluations, we prove that using cache admission improves forwarding rate of an NDN software router built on a commercial off-the-shelf computer without decreasing cache hit probability.
