Traffic offloading over wireless LAN systems has been proposed as one of the solutions to the problem of traffic proliferation in the mobile communications. This study is made to propose an entrance system based on the IEEE802.11ac standard for wireless LAN services in a high speed train. The influence of Doppler frequency spread in high-speed mobile environments can be decreased by employing MIMO/STBC, thus the proposed method is able to increase the transmission rate and extending the communication range. The system performance is evaluated in the multiple high-speed vehicles environment. With the switching between MIMO and STBC, the improvement of communication capacity can be confirmed by the simulation. |
