(in English) Terahertz waves which have high transparency for nonpolar materials such as insulators are expected to be use for application because it has a strong aptitude for non-destructive inspection of electric wires covered with insulators. In this study, to research the quantitative detection possibility of defects for insulating aluminum wires, sub-terahertz reflection imaging was carried out.
