It is important to maintain quality of user experience (QoE) in order to continuously use applications such as web or video in mobile network. However, in high-loaded cell, degradation of QoE under a required level will generate because of insufficient radio resource. In this report, we propose radio resource control in LTE base stations based on required communication quality of application necessary for meeting a required QoE. With change of a connected cell for users whose QoE is predicted not to be degraded and with radio resource scheduling in accordance with the predicted QoE, degradation of QoE under the required QoE for each application is decreased. As a result of evaluation under unbalanced load of cells, the number of degradation under the required QoE defined with Web browsing download time and Video freeze was decreased by 38%, compared with Proportional Fairness scheduling only. |
