Shunt type, series type, and asymmetric transformer type ISNs (Impedance stabilization network) have been developed. In particular, in the case of shunt type ISN, it was reported that the different disturbance level was measured when the differential mode disturbance source was dominant.
In this report, we evaluate the influence of ISN types to the measurement value by comparing the calculation result and the measurement result. In the analysis, the ISN and the EUT were modeled by a network, and the influence of ISN types was evaluated. In the measurement, three types of ISN were actually created, and the common mode current was measured as the disturbance level. For the investigation, it was necessary to change the LCL of EUT. Therefore, the imitated EUT which could change the LCL was developed by using a balun and resistors. Supplying a differential mode signal to the ISN, the common mode current was measured. As a result of comparing the measured value and the calculation value, the calculation value was agreed with the measurement value.
The evaluation result showed that 1) the LCL of EUT influenced to the measurement result, 2) the common mode current flowing into the ISN from the EUT was almost the same for any type of ISN, and 3) the measured disturbance value by the shunt type ISN was different from the measured value by other ISNs. |
