Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This paper proposes frequency domain precoding vector switching (PVS) transmit diversity for narrowband synchronization signals for narrowband (NB)-Internet-of-Things (IoT) radio interface. More concretely, we propose localized and distributed PVS transmit diversity schemes for narrowband primary synchronization signal (NPSS) and narrowband secondary synchronization signal (NSSS) and detection methods of NPSS and NSSS at a receiver. We compare detection probabilities of NPSS and NSSS by using the proposed frequency domain PVS transmit diversity schemes with those using the conventional time domain PVS transmit diversity scheme by computer simulations.
