Signal transmission characteristics of the high-speed power line communication (PLC) haves been studied by using the 2- wire power line.
However, the 3-wire power line including the grounding wire is also used in house. Therefore, the influence of the grounding wire should be
studied. Last time, I reported the influence of the ground wire position in 3-wire power line to signal transmission characteristics by the
simple model of indoor power distribution line. However, since the input impedance frequency characteristics of the equipment influences to
the transmission characteristics, the influence of the ground line position could not be evaluated sufficiently at the frequencies where the
transmission characteristics sharply change. Therefore, in this report, the countermeasures device for suppressing the change of the input
impedance are inserted into the AC mains ports of electronic equipment, and the influence of the grounding line position was evaluated. As a
result, by using the countermeasure device, it was possible to reduce the frequency change of the transmission characteristics. In the
evaluated frequency range, I confirmed that there is no remarkable change in the transmission characteristics by the grounding line position. |
