An indoor pedestrian position estimation method is one of the important basic techniques to make novel human-centered service. In this paper, we propose a human identification method using RGB-D camera and Pedestrian Dead-Reckoning (PDR) device in the indoor environment. Human walk has a double support phase in which head and body moves slightly. Therefore we get a time and a position of double support phase from RGB-D camera and PDR devices, and then identify the PDR users with a person taken by RGB-D camera. We performed experiments on platoon walk and free walk using three cameras and five PDR devices. Resultantly, validity of the proposed method is shown experimentally. |
