A Study on Fairness of Consumers' Utility with Matching Problem in Electricity Markets

(in English) This paper considers consumers’ utility in a matching representing electricity transactions between suppliers and consumers. A previous research has dealt with a social welfare maximization problem on an electricity market model. However, the previous research does not concern an imbalance penalty and the utility of each consumer. In order to raise the consumers’ utility, this paper proposes a minimum consumers’ utility maximization problem with considering the imbalance penalty. Simulation results have demonstrated that the minimum consumers’ utility maximization problem is able to suppress the imbalance penalty and to even out the fluctuations of consumers’ utility in comparison with the social welfare maximization problem.
