Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) The dissemination of NFV/SDN stimulates the study of general purpose products for the application to large scale networks. In order to apply commodity products instead of dedicated ones, we propose a division control in distributed processing. Numerical evaluation for the parallel models of general purpose switches and the single model of a dedicated router shows that the mean processing waiting time of the former can be same with that of the latter by an algorism minimizing the waiting time. In the case of processing multiple kinds of packets with different priorities we investigate the division control that manages the assignment of switches. The authors show that the processing waiting time of the parallel model can be shorter than that of the single model. They also indicate the effectiveness of the control in terms of the correlation with NFV/SDN due to both the importance of the calculation resource for the control and the flexibility of switch arrangement.
